I signed into the ER at 11:54pm and by 12:30am, I had been triaged, was seen by a provider, and had diagnostic imaging done. The nurses and Dr. Rascon-Antillon were kind, efficient, and provided a level of care I have rarely experienced in New Mexico. I appreciate the quick care, but the provider taking the time to explain every detail and listen to my concerns before deciding on the best plan of care for me was a quality of care that will bring me back in future.

This is regarding the ER department. Not the rest of the facility. I was seen on the evening of 6/29/26 for shortness of breath and chest tightness lasting 2 weeks and progressing significantly. The admin and nurses were amazing. However, the Certified PA, Steven Clark, was rushing. I brought a short list of symptoms and a short list of things tried, meds, and such. He looked at the paper, and literally said "yeah, im not going to read that." IF YOU HAD TAKEN THE TIME TO GIVE A DAMN ABOUT THE PATIENT, you would have seen that everything you did in the ER was already tried and failed elsewhere. Including the asthma inhaler prescribed for asthma that previously did not work." Honestly, I would like to make a personal complaint and ask to be re evaluated as the symptoms are still present and terrifying. PAY ATTENTION TO THE PATIENTS. WE KNOW OUR BODIES BETTER THAN ANY OUTSIDE PHYSICIAN AND WE KNOW WHEN SOMETHING IS WRONG. WE ARE NOT NUMBERS. WE ARE PEOPLE.

MEDICAID PATIENTS BEWARE. This hospital will repeatedly attempt to collect the Medicaid Insurance unpaid balance from you. They are still harassing me, after 3+years.

I went to this hospital around 2:12 because I wasn’t feeling good and the front desk ladies were unbelievably rude. Very short, choppy, and snobby communication towards me. I thought hospitals were supposed to be helpful, but these 2 were not. Do NOT recommend going there.
